At Svasa Stillness, we care deeply about supporting the whole person physically, mentally, and emotionally. From time to time, we'll share stories from practitioners we trust and love having in our space.
This is Julita's story about her journey into money coaching, and the lived experience that shaped the way she supports others today.
Money didn't enter my life through confidence. It entered through struggle.
Growing up, money was never something we talked about in a healthy way. No one explained how the financial world worked, or how to manage money with clarity. What I did see was tension money often showed up as stress, and at times, conflict. So I stepped into adulthood without the tools, language, or confidence to feel steady with my finances.
When I moved away from home to study, I had to support myself. I remember how overwhelming it felt trying to make ends meet juggling expenses, making tough choices, and constantly doing mental maths. Money felt stressful, confusing, unpredictable, and sometimes completely out of my control.
That season taught me something important: financial decisions aren't just about numbers. They're shaped by habits, emotions, beliefs, and life circumstances. And when you don't have support or education around money, it's easy to feel like you're failing when really, you were never given the tools in the first place.
But that experience became a turning point.
Over time, I started learning. I built healthier money habits, changed the way I thought about money, and created more stability and direction. What began as a personal necessity became something deeper a genuine interest in understanding money and the role it plays in our lives.
When I became a mother, that passion grew even stronger. I wanted my children to have a better relationship with money than I did growing up. I began having everyday conversations with them about saving, values, and making intentional choices. Those small moments at home reinforced just how powerful financial education and mindset can be especially when it starts early.
As time went on, friends and family began coming to me for guidance. And I found real fulfilment in supporting others and watching their confidence grow.
That's what led me here.
Today, as a money coach, I combine my knowledge and personal experience with practical tools and a supportive approach to help others build financial confidence. I believe managing money is a skill anyone can learn with the right guidance, consistency, and mindset.
My goal is to create a safe space where people feel supported and can talk about money openly, without judgement. A space where building financial confidence and a healthier relationship with money feels achievable, not intimidating. Where money becomes less overwhelming and more empowering.
Because no matter how much you're earning right now, or where you're starting from, you deserve to feel in control of your money and confident about your financial future.
My approach isn't about quick fixes or strict rules. It's about understanding your goals and values, then building simple, sustainable habits that move you forward with clarity.
