Accessibility Statement – Svasa Stillness

Last updated: 28 April 2026

At Svasa Stillness, we’re committed to an inclusive, welcoming environment for all people, including people with disability. We aim to make our studio, website, and services accessible, and we will provide reasonable adjustments wherever practicable, consistent with the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth).

1) Studio access & facilities

  • Location & entry: Street-level entry with wheelchair-accessible access at 560 North East Road, Holden Hill SA 5088.

  • Parking: Parking is available at the rear of the building. If you require closer access, contact us and we’ll guide you to the most suitable bays.

  • Toilets: On-site toilets are available. There are also toilets within the building. If you have specific accessibility requirements, please contact us so we can advise the best option.

  • Assistance animals & support persons: Registered assistance animals are welcome. Support persons are welcome to accompany you.

  • Wayfinding: Our team can assist with entry, exit, and moving safely through the space. If you need a specific mat location (e.g., near the door, near a wall for support), we’ll do our best to arrange it.

  • Belongings & mobility aids: In-room storage is available during class. If you need additional space for mobility aids or medical devices, please let us know in advance.

2) Class participation & reasonable adjustments

  • Modifications: Our instructors offer variations and props to support different abilities, injuries, and conditions.

  • Sharing health information (optional): If you have an injury, disability, medical condition, or pregnancy considerations, you can confidentially share relevant details so we can support safe participation.

  • Pacing & breaks: You’re encouraged to practice at your own pace and take breaks as needed.

  • Lighting & sound: Some classes may use low lighting and/or background music. If you’re light- or sound-sensitive, please tell us—we can suggest suitable class types and do our best to adjust placement and exposure.

  • Seating & floor space: We can reserve accessible floor space for wheelchairs, walkers, or additional equipment where possible—please let us know in advance.

3) Website & online booking accessibility

We aim to make our website and online information accessible and usable for as many people as possible. We work toward recognised accessibility guidance (such as WCAG 2.1), including:

  • Clear headings and readable text

  • Sufficient colour contrast where possible

  • Keyboard navigability

  • Labelled forms

  • Meaningful link text

If you have difficulty booking online, we can assist by phone or email.

4) Communication preferences

  • We can provide information in plain English.

  • Where feasible, we can provide information in large print or accessible digital formats.

  • If you require an interpreter or additional support to communicate, please notify us in advance so we can coordinate arrangements with you.

5) Safety & emergency procedures

In an emergency, our team will assist anyone who needs help to evacuate safely. If you have a specific evacuation plan or device, please let us know before class so we can support you.

6) Photos and media

We occasionally capture photos or videos for studio and promotional purposes (e.g., social media or our website). If you do not wish to appear, please tell us before class (at check-in or via email). We will take reasonable steps to exclude you from new media and record your preference for future sessions.

7) Feedback, issues & response times

We welcome feedback about accessibility and will work with you to find a practical solution.

Accessibility contact Svasa Stillness — Attn: Anmool Kaur Email:  admin@svasastillness.com  Phone: +61 451 413 147

We aim to acknowledge accessibility requests and feedback within 3 business days.

If a barrier relates to building common areas managed by a third party (e.g., shared entryways or toilets managed by the landlord), we will liaise with building management where appropriate and offer reasonable alternatives in the meantime (e.g., class placement, staff assistance, or booking support).

8) Ongoing commitment & review

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We review this statement at least annually and whenever we significantly change our studio layout, timetable, or website.

Where full accessibility is not immediately achievable, we will provide reasonable adjustments and clear guidance so you can participate as comfortably and safely as possible.
